The comfort of the wood and the stone, reflections on the water... history and nature welcome you to Finca Goleta.

Around 1830, a doctor recently returned from Cuba chose this place to build a house in a Galician traditional style. It had its own jetty, where he built a schooner, mainly for the transport of wood and salt, hence the name Finca Goleta

In 1997 restoration works began and two years later doors were opened to our first guests. The traditional architecture and decoration were retained and complement all the modern home-comforts including free wi-fi in all areas of the house. Since summer 2010 we also have 3 fully accesible apartments for those who wish to have more privacy

Rooms- Mast, Helm, Cabin, Ratchet... the story of the schooner gives name to the rooms too. Rooms with sloping ceiling, with a view to the inlet, family rooms and apartments, warm spaces to relax and enjoy the stay.

All our rooms have a mini-bar and a fully fitted bathroom with windows, hairdryer and slippers to make it feel like home

Lounges - Our house's first floor is divided in three different spaces – TV room and library – playzone and a traditional kitchen with a hearth – where only wood and the solid stone walls could make such an open space so comfortable

Apartaments - For you to feel completely at ease, we have restored the old barn and turned it into an apartment for two people. We also have apartments for 4 people with 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms, equipped with living-room and fully fitted kitchen, always keeping the traditional style of the whole complex, as well as enjoying a stunning view to the ría (estuary) of Foz.
